Meet our Assistant Principal
Hello Taylorsville Elementary School Parents and Students,
I am pleased and honored to be joining the TES community. I completed my Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Grades (4 – 8) Education at the University of West Georgia in 2004, a Masters Degree in Instructional Leadership at Jacksonville State University in 2010, and an Educational Specialist through Piedmont College in 2013.
Prior to entering the field of education, I worked at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office from 2001-2003. From 2004-2015, I taught sixth and seventh grade English/Language Arts and Social Studies at Villa Rica Middle School and coached boys basketball at the High School and Middle School levels.
I have been married to my amazing wife, Amy, for 20 years. We have two children: Brianna (14) and Andrew (12).
I look forward to getting to know all of the terrific staff, students, and parents at TES. My primary goal will be the safety and success of all faculty and students at TES. I will work closely with Principal Miller to strive to meet our mission to “promote a passion for life long learning, respect for self and others, and an appreciation for individual differences.” Here’s to 2019-2020 being the best year ever at TES.
Go TES Tigers
